Course Description

Blytheco and LeaseQuery want to make sure you are up to speed with the new lease accounting standards. Join us for a comprehensive example of how to apply the new FASB lease accounting standard, ASC 842. The presentation will review the identification of key dates and contract components necessary to complete the calculations for compliance. Then we will describe the various discount rate options and when each is appropriate to apply. Finally, our presenter will prepare the initial and subsequent journal entries for an operating lease under ASC 842 using the concepts explained in the first part of the presentation.
