Session 2 - An In-depth Look at the Implementation Process for ASC 842

Session 3 - How to Identify Accounting Fraud

During this session, the presenter will dive into the foundations of accounting fraud with an introduction to the Fraud Triangle and The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and its emphasis on Internal Controls. They will explore various types of accounting fraud, including financial statement fraud, misappropriation of assets, management override and  potential fraud associated with the current Covid-19 crises. Attendees will also develop an improved understanding of the opportunities for fraud within their organization and how to better detect different types of accounting fraud.
